Partner Development Specialist

This role is perfect for an educator looking to work outside the classroom. You will use your teaching experience to speak with educators and administrators about their needs and goals. You will work with our team to build programs to address them. Learning Bird provides digital resource creation services, digital skills capacity development, educator training and coaching, professional development workshops, and language and culture digitization and preservation services. To be successful in this role, you need to be a strong communicator and creative thinker. You can build relationships via phone and video calls and are happy doing cold outreach to new people.

Education Content Creator

This is a perfect position for an experienced educator or instructional designer interested in Indigenous education. You have a knack for storytelling and understand how to design digital lessons. You will be creating engaging lessons – a mix of videos, handouts, and slides – for our online platform. We’re looking for educators who are passionate about decolonizing education and love to bring topics to life by telling compelling digital stories. This is a seasonal or part-time position (up to 30 hours per week during peak times) based on our needs and according to your availability. Paid training takes place remotely via videoconference, and you can complete all work from home.

Video Editor/Media Designer

We are looking for an experienced video editor/media designer. You will use your video editing background to turn scripts into engaging digital resources (videos, audio clips, presentations, handouts). You’ll take concepts from the idea stage through production and delivery, collaborating with the team along the way. This role is a seasonal or part-time position (up to 30 hours per week during peak times) based on our needs and according to your availability. Paid training takes place remotely via videoconference, and you can complete all work from home.

Remote Work

All of the positions above are remote. You can work from anywhere in Canada. Our team is currently in the Eastern time zone. Many of our meetings will occur during office hours in the Eastern zone.
