Grant Opportunity in Alberta – Indigenous Reconciliation Initiative

We’re excited to let our current and potential Alberta-based partners know about a new grant funding opportunity! The Indigenous Reconciliation Initiative – Cultural Stream grant offered by the Government of Alberta funds Indigenous-led initiatives that enhance, protect, or revitalize Indigenous languages, cultures, and arts.

Eligible projects in this grant include language and education resource development, traditional knowledge programs and skill sharing, and community-based research like gathering oral histories or archival work.

An Economic Stream is also available under this funding to support economic development projects.
